What Ever Shall We Do?

So now that Well Wed has dissolved and disappeared like an Alka-Seltzer when you have an upset stomach, what are going to do on night s like tonight? Should we stay faithful to the place that has provided us with so many great wed nights, as well as Ron and the Princess lady. Or do we say "screw you for taking away our cheap drink prices" and mosey on down to the next watering hole? I'll tell you the truth, I don't think I have an opinion either way, not like it would matter. I just thought I would throw that out there in case you all forgot.

Comments:
Well, I do enjoy a good game of pool and apparently, before you and I came around, they used to hang out at Avalon, which is now Babylon, so I'm cool with that. Of course, playing pool and drinking regularly priced beer is definitely going to be more costly than $2.75 well drinks.

But, it's a shorter walk for Becky and I. See, I look out for you and your heel Becky.

i'm okay with that, i am actually better at pool the more i drink.

ugh.
i'd vote against babylon. mainly because i go to hang out and have drinks. paying for pool cuts into that.

see, i think the drinkers can get well weds changed back if we try.

but, i'm also open to starline's open mic night, or going to landmark, or staying @ 'stones.

Wouldn't want to cut into the drinking with anything like social interaction and activities.

"hang out & have drinks"

implies social interaction. now activities, that is another matter.

but, since i am the only remaining member of the original crew, i'll provide some history. justin, jay and i used to go out on thursdays. to avalon. reggae night. it was our guys night out. now, other people came along at times, but this was our regular crew. also, it should be noted that we were drinking @ avalon for super cheap, if not free, because of our relationship to the bartenders @ the time. but, i don't think we played pool on this night. just hung out and drank. eventually, we learned of well weds. i adopted the slogan that "wednesday is the new thursday!" we adopted well weds. now, over time, the crew has changed. but, the intention hasn't - hanging out, chatting, having drinks.

does this mean we couldn't play pool? of course not. but, since nick was asking for opinions, i feel free to voice my opinion that "paying for pool cuts into (drink $)." and you're free to offer avalon as your opinion.

i also think we should check into places like vini's, palomino's, and starline. but, i'd prefer to have 'stones be the home base/default from which we venture out from.

i agree with both of you on different points. and ed you really didn't have to drop the bomb that we were not part of the original group, that hurts. but if you feel that it entitlesyou to an extra vote, that is okay. like i said, i agree with pool taking away from my drinking money and that i go to stones to just hang, relax and enjoy that company i am with. but on the other hand, a change of pace could be nice. so that is how i feel.

and ed i was just kidding about that other stuff, i'm not mad or anything, i just thought the history lesson was funny.

well, adam was the first to point out that neither he nor you were o.g.'s. and, he was correct in pointing out that we used to hang there. but, i felt it was important to point out that when it was our regular haunt, we didn't play pool. just have drinks.
