job interview

i just got an email from Del Dotto Estate Winery for a job interview on fri at 11:00. they have two locations, one in napa, the other is their brand new tasting room and caves in st. helena, which is the location i am interviewing at and for. the position isn't exactly what i was looking for, as a cellar worker, in the production of the wine, but in the tasting room as an tasting room attendant/wine educator/hospitality person[(check it out, http://www.deldottovineyards.com/) if i could do one of those neat link words i would, but i suck at this.]. it's not what i was looking for, but i need to learn all aspects of a winery if i am to do this. it is full time which is awesome. i also applied to four more wineries today. one sounds really great, full time, benefits, salary plus commission, and a gym membership, i really want that job.

this news helps the mood, but know i'm scared. i've made contact with other wineries, but this is the first one to set up an interview. my head's all screwed up.

it is also my moms b-day and haven't gotten her anything yet, i'm a terrible son.

Comments:
Congrats, thats great! Getting the interview can be the hard part so you are ahead of the game.
Now you are going to have to start making big decisions about completely changing your life, which is obviously stressful but I really think this will be a good change for you, whatever you decide. Good luck!

Take your mom to dinner, they love that quality time stuff:)

Nice job snagging the interview.

If you need to have a drink or a talk or a walk or whatever, you know how to reach me. I'm always here to lend an ear or tell you to straighten up and fly right.

Congrats! Make sure to go over your qualities right before your interview and breathe...it always seems to work for me. I gain a little more confidence as well as a little calm.

You'll do great I'm sure, good luck.

make sure to tell them that the wedding is a required attendence...I had to I just could let that go!
