moving time
so i've been thinking and trying to figure out this whole moving thing and what extra efforts if will require from me. besides the insane obvious things i'm going to need to do, of the more simple things is to furnish a home, simple right? wrong! when you haven't lived on your own since college and almost everything you used was either borrowed from your parents or grandparents, this task becomes increasingly more difficult. i still have some of the kitchen stuff, but most pots, pans, tupperware, etc. is gone. i have a bed, 2 dressers, nightstands, and that's about it. i don't have a couch, chair, table, nothing, i don't even have a tv to play my wii on, my current tv is potters. now i'm not spilling all of this to get a pity party, that is not the case. but what i was looking for were any tips or suggestions on how to resolve this issue in an economical way, as money has always been tight, it is now worse with higher rent, possible car payments, deposit, and furnishing a place.
so needless to say, i'm a bit worried as to how i am going to make this work, so any help would be appreciated.

Well you take the tv back from Potter, you ask around if anyone has furniture that they may not want or need (I have some crap in my garage still from the first Becky that she left years ago she doesnt seem to need that includes a dining room table), you go to yard sales and look online at craigs list and IKEA is always cheap. If you found some used stuff that looks worn down for cheap, I am sure Adam could help you re-furnish it and make it nice again. Or you go bare bones for awhile until you can afford it. Of course keep in mind that you might need to rent a uhaul which is an extra cost as well.
I have moved many times and cross country twice with no money so it can be done, you just have to work a little harder. You are right though, it can really add up. If I had to purchase all of that stuff at once it would be a problem for me too.

Craig's list! There might be some good deals in your new area so you don't have to move it.
Kasey- I didn't even know I had stuff still there! Nick it's yours if you need it. hahahaha

Actually its the other Becky (I couldnt remember her new or old last name) at least thats what Kendall told me. You may have stuff there too though, who knows, there is a lot of randomess and spiders in there.
thanks for the craigslist idea, i had completly forgot about that place, i hadn't even looked for apartments, let alone, furnature. i found a couple of places that are pretty cheap and are partially funrished, so i may luck out. o should be heading back up later this week, prob, fri, to do a couple walk throughs.
yeah, i was going to say it was from the second becky actually (harp-sligh).
as for the actual furni question, you might be able to deal well @ thrift stores as well. i know brian has picked up some decent stuff @ thrift and vintage stores.

If you want to wait two or three years, I'll build you something at cost. =P
But seriously, lemme know if you need help with anything. If you find something at a vintage store that needs a repair or refinishing, I'll give you a hand.
I'll also help with moving once you find out the day you're headed out.
